Research and planning cover, contents page and double page spread so far

This is my magazine so far. I have changed the contents page by added additional text so there are no empty spaces. I have changed the double page spread so that the image blends in with the background. I have also changed the background colour of the magazine cover and added some additional writing to fill the whole cover.

Research and planning, my 3 drafts at the moment

These are my drafts so far. I have a lot of things to do on them like line the cover stories on the cover so that they don't look so separated and all over the place, I need to chnage the colour of the text as I can not read them clearly.

Research and Planning, Make-up

I wanted to keep the make-up simple and natural so we did not use a lot of make up. on the model, I used a light touch of eye shadow that would match her eye colour and left the lip colour the same. like shown in the picture below.

For me on the other hand, I added a bit of colour on my eyes just because I have small eyes and I wanted to look like I had big eyes and I also kept the lip colour natural.

This is my new Magazine cover. However, it is not to my liking therefore, I will need to pick another image that will match the magazine perfectly. This image looks plain and dull.

Research and Planning Shooting schedule

I am going to be taking my new pictures on the 9th of January 2013 inside college as my previous pictures where taken outside college. I will be taking them on a white background on the stairs.

This is my new contents page, I changed the colour of my background because I thought it looked too simple with the front cover background being black and the double page spread being a lighter shade of red. I am very happy with this outcome because it looks more attractive.
